Boundaries
The Common Pantry service area extends east-west from Ravenswood Avenue to Kedzie Avenue and north-south from Lawrence Avenue to Diversey Parkway. In addition, service goes to all of the Lathrop Homes, including the portion south of Diversey and to residents of the Lakeview YMCA.
Qualifications
Qualified clients must meet certain monthly income guidelines. Based on the number of individuals in the household, the USDA and Federal Government have established maximum gross wage amounts for qualifying individuals/families. Qualified clients are eligible to visit the pantry once each month. Please see distribution guidelines for more information.
Homeless
We also help those that are homeless and try to offer ready-to-eat food items for clients without storage or cooking capabilities.
